I'm been doing my homework lately on Penang and Kuala Lumpur and found asia rooms to be a LOT more expensive than say the hotel direct and other booking agencies. It may (or not) have something to do with asia rooms been taken over by TUI which I understand is part of the huge UK First Choice /Thomson group.
