bargaining power with a prepaid room. We now book direct with the hotel and if we are not happy we can negotiate with them. Occassionally we have had to pay a bit more this way but think it is well worth it.At the moment we have 5 hotels booked for next month and have not had to pay up front for any of them. They are all able to be cancelled without any penalty.Very happy with this arrangement. Have been able to book specific rooms too which is also a huge bonus :)
