Had to laugh about the struggling on $1200 a month, sorry, but I live here and would retire if I had that, but I live a simple life and don't have a disability. If your disability requires that you hire someone to help you and you have a lot of doctors bills you may struggle, but if you can live a simple Balinese lifestyle then go for it. As Dennis says you will need to find a sponsor and it would need to be shown that you are able to work (Work permit) or volunteer (social visa).Note, you would probably have to pay these yourself unless you are very lucky to find a job that pays for you, the work permit (KITAS) will set you back about US$2000 a year.
