He or she is the medical professional in your life and that is to whom you should turn to for medical advice - not a travel forum.
While the advice you are getting is well meant it does not take into account your medical history,possible allergic reactions to certain drugs or a mix of drugs.
My comment about taxi drivers and cleaners was to make you think "I wouldn't ask a taxi driver, cleaner or check in person about my health so why am I asking absolute strangers on a travel forum."
Please take advice from your health professional - it's the best possible advice you can get.
