This is always my biggest dilemma but there is no sure fix to the problem unfortunately other than literally knowing where they are at all times. Always a big decision whether to risk staying on 2nd or 3rd floor and risk breaking bones falling but not being on ground floor with access to pools. There is also usually ponds around the grounds that pose a danger. On our 1st night we just taped up both exits with that thin black tape so they couldn't escape that way out the adjoining room doors and our room was the only exit we used. Floaties is the only suggestion for the pool. I figure at least if they fall in they will float. Our four yr old can swim with them and whilst they won't save the 2yold they will keep him up rather than sinking. No choice but to not take your eyes off them at any time. We have been several times now with small children and have come away fine despite my huge concerns. Enjoy your trip!
