Was trying to find info on the Travelinsurance direct site. I will call them and clarify but would be interested to hear of any forum experiences They say they will not pay if
"Your claim arises because you did not follow advice in the mass media of a government or other official body's warning:
* against travel to a particular country or parts of a country; "
So, if Dfat still have advice against travel to Indonesia does that mean that our travel insurance is not valid?
Also they will not pay a claim if you "ride a motor cycle (except as a pillion passenger) without a licence that is valid in the relevant country;"
I have searched and I do know that an International drivers license is recognised in Indonesia but was interested to know if OK to ride a 50cc (can do so on car license in WA) in Indonesia on an International license not endorsed for bikes.
Hope this makes sense and someone can help
