Hi, I'm an old pro photographer, based in Japan for the past 20 years. This year marks the 40th anniversary of my first trip to Bali as a kid. I still retain ties with some of the great locals I met on that trip. I'm shooting all over the island to try and see if any of the original Bali I first fell in love with still exists. I'm thinking 5-6 weeks at the moment but not set in stone. I guess I'm really interested in finding someone else who might be curious about taking a first hand peek at the more ignored areas of Bali - if indeed they still exist ? I'm 58, Australian and very happily married in Japan with a gaggle of kids of varying ages. Non-smoker, love a drink on occasions, fluent Indonesian/Japanese speaker but my Balinese is rusty to say the least. Arriving this Thursday night and staying with old friends in Pendawa.
