We usualy take between 30 to 40 Kg of cloths to give to friends in Bali on every trip all used (maybe once) We have never been Questiond by customs in Bali.
But saying that some Customs officers are on the Take and will put it on you to pay for (Duty) although I dont think there are Taxes aplicable to used clothing payable in Bali . But I think you will find that New Clothing in quanity does have a excise payment . Best to take it out of the wrapping and cut the Tags off and say its used by the wife once smile look up at the roof and say guys you know what women are like . and shake your head . They will probible help you out the door with them and commiserate that they have the same problem.
