One of our party was so eager to get to Waterbom he left his card in ATM opposite BGH, machines here sometimes dispense money before returning card. When he ran back after 3 mins.bank guys were in refilling machine and said they could not find his card. He returned again a couple of minutes later and card was there but AU$900 was taken from his account!
On an aside, after reading a room safe had been broken into at BGH, we asked for a safety deposit box at reception and were given a huge one, big enough for all our stuff and very secure, 24 hour reception. Definitely reccommend if you are a big party with lots of cash/cards etc. Shame our party member hadn't taken cash, but at least he got card back!
