A couple of years back I went into an ATM and 2 girls had left their card in the machine with "do you want to make another transaction?" - I ran after them and handed back their card.
Last year I took money out of an ATM near the Stadium and was distracted (always check...money, card, receipt before leaving) by my son and went over to meet my husband at Kuta Art Markets...when I realised I'd left my card in the machine. I ran back and it had gone - I was like a woman possessed and then walking towards me was a wonderful gentlement waving my card around. He had found it and had been looking for me.
I'd like to think that was kharma!
It is decieving though as the machines do hand your card back last which is opposite to how it's done over here.
