Can someone who has recently done this please help with the following questions?
1)If I just wish to stay in Bali for 60 days as a tourist, do I still need a sponsor? If so, how do I organise that from Australia?
2)I have not yet booked my plane tickets and would like to arrange a visa before doing so. Some people have said that you need to show a copy of your plane tickets, but I don't see anything on the website about that. Is this necessary? If I wanted to extend my stay then surely the plane tickets would be irrevelant, or I may want to go out overland through Java.
3)I live in the country so unable to go to the Embassy. Is it OK to send by registered post - I hate to send off my passport.
4)On another tack, would there be any problem if I entered Bali on a VOA, stayed for 30 days, flew out to Malaysia for a couple of weeks and then came back to Bali for another 30 days.
I would be grateful for any advice. I have been to Bali about 10 times now and have entered by land, sea and plane but have not stayed longer than 30 days since the regulations changed.
