Had a great visit to the Jimbaran Seafood Markets last trip but then I read it had closed down for rebuilding. Has it re-opened? Hope so - very much looking forward to returning - it was a seafood-lovers delight. Those of you who stay in villas with resident cooks should head out there - an amazing array of incredibly fresh seafood - you can see it coming off the fishing boats.

Also, are chefs' knives now available in Bali? Heading over next Saturday & in the past I've only been able to find the non-stainless steel ones the locals use - to my surprise Centro doesn't sell any cooking knives.

Also, any recommendations for a sorta cheap hotel in Jl Hanuman in Ubud. Has to be cheapish - hubby is away for 2 months surfing elsewhere in Indonesia - meeting me for a week in Bali. No workies = no $ so gotta watch the rupiah.
