You will find your Asus EEE PC will have a built in wireless modem, so, when you turn the PC on, it will automatically check for an internet reception. You will need to know what the password is for the location. Eg if you are in a restaurant they will tell you what to enter for password. You shouldnt need to buy anything additional.
Its basically receiving the signal by wireless signal rather than the usual plug in cable.
I used my ASUS laptop in Bali in March and often went into Breeze restaurant. Once I had entered the Breeze password which Desak gave me, the laptop automatically located the wifi each visit, verified the saved password and connected.
Easy as.
