Planning a trip back to Bali around end of Dec for approx 2 weeks, was there the same time last year and paid approx 1100.00 for the airfare, now Jetstar want over $2000! I have been watching the flights since we come back in January and they have never released the Jetsaver fares they are marked sold out!! (though they have never been there to be sold out)!!
MY DILEMMA!!
I have been looking at alternate routes to Bali and have found that by flying Jetstar to Darwin they have a fare for $119 one way and then flying Air North $289.5 one way ( a grand total of $831 return from Melbourne which is fantastic).
What I would like some advise on is Jetstar arrives in Bali at 16.25 then Air North depart at 19.15, is this cutting it fine I am wondering perhaps I should arrive the day before so I don't stress about good old Jetstar letting us down.
What is Air North like to fly with?
Do you think Jetstar will release cheper fares from Melbourne?
Opinions greatly appreciated.
