where did you people stay?? Novotel Benoa is one of the loveliest hotels in Bali. The breakfasts are all anyone could want and by the way the beans are real boston baked beans...not heinz. As for panicking and changing your reservations...did you pay for standard? If so thats what you get. You never have to "dodge" traffic because there is ALWAYS security on that road....even in the middle of the night.As for kid friendly...I'm sorry there's no way anyone at the fromt desk would say that. They have kids club available from 8am till 10pm all day everyday...they have the most wonderful kids club staff, and the reason you didn't see many kids on the other side is because the kids club and kids pool is beachside. If you're going to winge about the accom try your travel agent...they should have explained where the rooms are. By the way all standard rooms are being upgraded...hence the workmen....you could've used the other pool. No pool towels stay on chairs unused for more than an hour or so...I've stayed in this hotel in excess of 20 times so I have had some experience..in fact was there today and the Nirwana pool is looking beautiful and very much in use.Please remember your comments can affect people's holiday plans and each to their own, but a lot of what you say is certainly not what I think. As for Peninsula being better??????????????Conrad...yes I agree but also far more expensive and very impersonal
