can forumites please clarify what's the deal with bringing duty free back to Oz.
On our bali holiday last year we bought our grog and perfume at the duty free at the airport as it was a lot cheaper than Down town duty free and had no hassles but I've read a few JBRs where people have had theirs confiscated (along with everything else over a 100mls)as they were about to board the plane !!!
This year we are flying back to oz via Jakarta(not stopping over , just transiting). Should we wait till we get to jakarta? We are flying Garuda.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
