Malaria meds?

Hi there, Im getting a little anxious about Malaria warnings ive been reading about. Ive been to Bali for a couple weeks in Tuban area before. Never had any Malaria meds for this trip. I would like to go to Lombok and the Gilies for a week or so. Im wondering if I should be doing this side trip to the Islands without taking malaria meds. Any info would be great. Tks Jo
