People would not be bashing the airline if something was not amiss.
In your answer you pointed out " unlike their big sister Qantas who uses all the old ones that rattle and shake"yet in the same answer you quote"Also you fly in the knowledge that the airline is owned and run by one of the world's safest airlines in Qantas"
Is this the problem they trade on the name and reputation of QANTAS yet offer less service for the price .Ask those who have been ripped off by paying for qantas service and been shifted to J* and not compensated (and I dont mean a $50 Voucher).
Ask yourself why Qantas if flying these old aircraft yet makes billions ovf dollars in profit. Ask where the Australian jobs have been sent to (in maintinence ) and asdk yourself how long it will be befor J* or qantas has a safty record due to this eqivalant to any other airline in the world .The fact that J* is a "low Cost " airline seems to be a bit of a misnomer every time I have tryed to book with J* to Bali I have found that I could Fly with Royal Bruni , Malasian or Singapore Air $100s of dollars cheaper and with full service. Also look at their latest offering they say if you only take hand luggage you will save $20 on the fare So 15kg of luggage is worth to them $1.20 a kg ASk again how much they will charge you if you are overweight and have to pay excess baggage $6 a kilo minimum.
SO as I said if they were honest fair and truely low cost there would not be complaints
