All the responses I had were very positive ranging from my children will be genius' because they are breastfed and pleased that "rich" foreigners also breastfeed. The older Balinese were particulary pleased and showed me a great deal of respect for feeding. it was always a source of discussion while feeding lol.
I even had one lady thank me for showing the balinese that they don't need to use formula which, because of it's expense, causes many babies to suffer malnutrition (they water it down or don't use as often as should). While the formula companies are unable to advertise or market but they pay hospitals & nurses monetary bonus incentives to encourage use of formula, in extreme case's they even take the babies away for hours on end so the milk doesn't come in.
