MOOV and Permethrin Treated Nets/ Sheets

Travelling to Jakarta and Bali in March with a toddler and being your typical anxious mother I'm worried about Dengue Fever (isn't everyone), but was advised not to use DEET on our son, so I'm looking for alternatives...

I've seen some MOOV repellent for sale but not sure how effective it is, has anyone personally tried it? Any good or no?

Also heard that using sheets/ mozzie nets which have been treated with permethrin can be helpful - of course I need to double check with doc if this is safe for toddlers - but has anyone used either of these, were they effective, and where did you buy them?
