I am going back to Indo in April (cant wait)
I was there in October and spent 4 lovely days in Lombok and 12 days in Bali (aswell as 3 days in Singapore).
Anyway, when we stayed in Lombok we took a day trip up to Gili Islands for a spot of snorkelling, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! When I go back in April with my wife and 2 sisters I am hoping to go back there again to show my sisters! We will be based at the Dynasty for the 2 weeks we are in Bali this time and I am having trouble deciding on how to get there. One of my sisters is terminal with cancer, so i am worried about the boat rides there etc and if it will be too much for her. Other option is catching a Merpati flight, car ride, then a shorter boat ride.
What is the boat ride like from Bali to the Gili Islands? How much is a fair price? Does this ride get very bumpy?
