I like to seek out more traditional warungs when I am there (another way of saying I am a tight*rse?!!)
Missus insisted that for once we go to a "flasher" (read more expensive) place, so on that occasion last Nov we went to Poppies.
Sitting in the garden part (lovely setting), and sipping cocktails, the obligatory rat runs across the paving and into a tree.
Supports my argument that basically all these places are the same and you just get a better class of rat in the posher places.
By the way, has anyone sat at the "water feature" at the rear of "The Pub" and watched the "hampsters" running about?
Its a real entertainment!
By the way, this is not an anti Bali posting.
I have come across the blighters everywhere, and am not particularly repulsed by them, although I am not altogether happy about sharing a room with them!
