yes, stick to seminyak!
4 of us went to poppies last year after having very fond memories of it from the 90's. We were all quite dissapointed in the food and the service. The garden setting is still nice (and Baldie is right - same rats running around LOL). For most of the trip we had eaten dinner in and around Jl laksmana in Seminyak and surprisingly poppies ended up costing more than any other restaurant we had visited.
Much better options around!
