Hello,

I made last minute plans to go to Bali - for the first time! - in mid January, and now scrambling to make plans, so any advice would be much appreciated. I'm going solo, a woman in late 30th. I'll be flying in (coming from New York) at night, so I need to make a hotel reservation for a first (and maybe second) night, and then play it by ear. Should I stay close to the airport? A bit uneasy about traveling on my own, mostly because I won't be able to share accommodation and driving expenses..

I'd love to spend a few days in a yoga retreat. I found some info on the Como Shambhala Estate, http://cse.comoshambhala.bz/default.asp, it sounds wonderful, but way to pricey for me. I noticed that Ubud area has some yoga studios, but I'd like to join all inclusive program for 5-7 days, not just assorted classes. Is it possible to negotiate prices for those programs or people are expected to pay the quoted price?

I enjoy hiking and hot springs, is it worth doing in Bali? I can't find many positive references to hot springs experiences..

So excited !!!
