In April 13 of us decided to book Xmas in Bali this year - all booked and paid for by September. We picked our tickets up 2 weeks ago only to find that they had spelled my partners name wrong on the ticket - as they had a copy of his passport it was there error to fix - anyway I rang them this week to find out what was happening with the ticket and they told me it was ready to pickup on Tuesday - when I picked it up I noticed that they had the incorrect flying time on the ticket (we are all having Xmas in Perth then flying out on the 6.15pm flight Xmas day)- after much discussion they told me that Garuda had reschedulled the flight (only for him by the way) I told them it was not good enough etc etc - Anyway after not much luck over the phone the last couple of days I went there after work today only to find out that 6 of us have had our tickets cancelled (it appears that the travel agent accidently cancelled a group instead of just the one for the name change and even though we have our tickets they are worthless. So as everyone knows Garuda have no seats left in fact they are overbooked - we are on a waitlist for the 9.00am flight but that leaves our kids travelling in the afternoon without us as there tickets are still valid. Can you believe that the travel agent said we were lucky we have a week to sort something out - at the moment I do not feel so lucky. Thanks for listening to my moaning I do feel a bit better but still very dissapointed and angry.
