You are quite right - there are stupid people in every country; just as there are boorish twats and annoying little blowflies who spend their entire waking hours trying to prove they are right on everything - regardless of whether it matters. If I have said something here that has offended your sensitivities then I offer no apologies. Perhaps that's what is in part wrong with the world these days...too much time wasted on being always politically correct at all costs. Let me reassure you, you'll get far fewer ulcers in life from having a laugh at yourself than you'll ever get from nit-picking the 1% detail or trying to make yourself look talkler than the other guy. I'm not here to argue the point over who are Bali's worst lounge-hogs...every country has them; some are just typically more predisposed to such behaviour. Spend some time reading this forum and you'll get a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. I also see no point in seeking to highlight who are the rudest, dumbest or most boorish tourists on the island - I'll leave that to your obviously superior analytical skills Inspector Foxy Clouseau.
Perhaps if you are as smart as you would have me think you are, you would have seen my comments for what they were...a light-hearted jab at a rather ridiculous situation that has affected somebody's vacation. In the end it's about putting a humourous spin on a situation that is all too common on Bali.
And here's the difference between you and me Fox, old bean, because I have never met you, I have never seen your social skills and I have no idea what your wider views on the world are...I have actually drawn no conclusions on your intelligence, personality or net worth to the community. Neither have I advertised any preliminary opinions on you that I may have formed. It seems to me that openly bagging or pigeon-holing a person without knowing anything about them is something a goose does. Your illuminating assessment above would indicate that yours and my interpretation of a goose is somewhat different. But if it lets you puff up your chest, makes you feel taller or helps you feel more clever to call me stupid, Foxy, you go right ahead and do it - I don't mind, really. Because guess what, Foxy, in spite of the fact that I don't know who you are, have no idea what you look like or where you come from...I like you anyway.
