It's a corker isn't it :) It's a bit like a certain piece of profanity that works as a statement of dismay, a statement of anger, a statement of pain and even, with slight modification, a superlative! It has power without profanity...so to speak. I'm not sure as to its potency though in leveraging you an additional night's complimentary acommodation in Bali when our friends at DennisC's so-called Jetstink leave you standing at the desk without a plane!
The first time I heard it was when a rather high profile opposition footballer berated me during the course of a game for what he perceived was a pretty ordinary free-kick against him. Like you, I completely fell apart at the comment and it has pretty much stayed with me forever. Although unconfirmed, I suspect the term relates to a particular aspect of the male rodent's biological construction. One thing is for sure, use of such vernacular leaves the recipient in no doubt as to your level of respect for the situation; hahahahaha...I would love to be standing in a queue at DPS and hear you use it! It's pretty Australian don't you think and it sort of escalates the potency of that old saying of not giving a rat's, to a brand new level of urgency! Thanks for the feedback.
