I am sorry to bother everyone however I have a question that has probably been asked numerous times before.
I have been to Bali 7 times and always stay in Ubud, however my last time in 2004 I spent a few at the Oberoi prior to leaving Bali.
It appears that their prices have gone up significantly so I don't need to stay there. I don't know the Kuta, Legian, Seminkak at all however the area around the Oberoi seemed nice (Ku De Ta, lots of restaurants, etc).
Any suggestions for moderate accommodations (50-150 USD) would be greatly appreciated.
I have seen comments for Resor and Villa Coco here and those are options. I don't know much about the Double 6 area of Seminyak which is where Villa Coco is.
This would be for 4 days during the New Years time frame.
