If I understand your message correctly, the first search means that the security guys remove any fluids/crèmes exceeding 100 ml at the initial X-ray.
Then one checks in, buys dutyfree grog (for obvious reasons more than 100 ml as the grog bottles contain 1 litre, or more), too bulky to be put in the plastic bag.
At the next security stop - before entering the waiting area after departure is announced - the grog is confiscated as it is more than 100 ml.
I presume that the grog is then returned to the bottle shop, where another sale happens with the same results - security takes it away from the next passenger. And on it will go.
That I call profit making. Surely a good way to improve the Balinese economy!
At least the frisking is so wonderful, a last free massage by a smiling young man as most these younger guys really love their job - and I do not mind either.
Only in Bali! Or do I have a very blonde moment by the keyboard?
Does it cost a lot to open a bottle shop inside the airport?
