I have no idea re costs of duty free shops in Bali.
My daughter took her liquor back to the duty free store in Denpasar airport and got a refund. Since it was only day one and two of the new regulations, you would hope that the duty free stores will ask for flight number and advise the new Australian restrictions, prior to buying.
Same rule applies for outgoing flights too. so I expect there wont be any duty free liqour sales inside the internationals departure area, just outside prior to immigration. We will have to buy duty free and pack into our check in luggage. (Since the duty free liquor and perfumes area in Melbourne is being renovated, I cant understand, if the restrictions prevent any passenger carrying more than 100ml per bottle, up to 1 litre in total, in carry on, out of Australia, the duty free after immigration will have no sales). Very strange)
