Anyone cycled round the Island ??

I know that kuta to Denpasar is a bit manic but presume it thins out a bit once you get out a bit?? Was thinking of going up to Lovina via the coast and coming back via the middle?? Have ya done it..?? or know any major hassles that I may encounter??..
