Yes there are some bad spots and if you had to move over closer to the centre it would be too dangerours. As you know with 700c lose sand or going off the side and it is almost all over. You could take the RB if you change the wheels to 1 inch or 1 1/4. I guess the best way is a good MB with good rubber. The hardest part of the hill would only be a 39/18 or 20 would get you up easy.
