I don't know how you manage getting emails back & forth to the kids. Our chaps would go berserk at me.
We do letter drops from Perth where I have a friend going up every couple of months, but apart from that, anybody can write to their child care of the Club address & they get delivered the next time one is going out there.
It maybe worthwhile using one of your team's address for written letters rather than emails. Handwritten letters are far more personal than electronic and show that the person cares rather than taking the easy way out & simply tapping something out on a keyboard.
The other side of that, is that computers further highlight our different socio-economic standing above those children. Similarly, I ask people sending photos over to make sure they don't highlight their flashy cars or houses in the background.
