A lot of our sponsors write the same letter twice, once in English & then in Indonesian (via Toggletext). Seldom is it correct, but at least they try, which I think is good from a cultural exchange point of view.
Most of our older kids try to write back in English. I can assure you that their efforts at a foreign language are usually better than ours.
