It is somewhat dark, the bathrooms and kitchen grotty, the stairs very steep and rickety and you had music from somewhere close until 5:00 am.
I know a lot of people rave bout the BGH but I personally did not like it. The breakfast has flies all over it and the rats around the pool areas and gardens were like cats.
It is personal choice of course, the location is excellent, but there are other hotels within the vicinity that look a bit more clean and spruced up.
I beleive it is going into a renovation and my opinion is it is long overdue.
Others of course will not agree, it is what you expect of a hotel/resort, and I expect a little more.
It was like a tired Best Western.
