Changing hotel - Midway through

Hi, I am hoping someone may know as I know we managed this many years ago but not sure now?

My friend is in Bali at the moment and staying at Poppies cottages. My friend is a young widow and has travelled to bali many times by herself but first time at this hotel. She has two nights left out of 5 but cant stand the hotel for a few reasons but most of all as poppies dark and spooky at night when she is returning and several taxis refuse to drive her down there at any time of day. She would like to move to Bali Rani? Will the travel agent and wholesaler help out or will she just need to cut her loses and book direct at Rani and pay again for another two night's?
