A couple of quick questions. Now that Garuda has pulled the pin on flights through Adelaide and also cut its Tuesday departure ex Melbourne (sure is making it difficult to get to Bali now!) does anyone know whether Qantas is servicing Bali via Adelaide. I seem to recall the airline used to go there via Darwin. A problem with Garuda is that one of the three flights leaves at 8 in the morning, so we would need to travel down to Melbourne the night before...the options then become extra flights, extra accommodation costs or less days in Bali. Also, does anyone know whether Garuda will allow you to purchase an upgrade to biz class on a ticket from Denpasar back to Oz that was originally bought as economy both ways. If so, what did it cost?
