average cost of many domestic flights to Perth are around $300 vs around $100 odd to Sydney or Melbourne from Adelaide .Maybe keep an eye out for Virgin lunchtime specials.I think it's on for an hour or so from around 12 noon EST.
Also might be a very good idea to talk to Garuda themselves.A short time ago I heard there was going to be some talks as to whether they could organise some sort of cheap deals for those of us leaving from Adelaide re domestic flights.Always best to get it straight from the horses mouth !
