If we fax copies of our passports to a hotel ,and they end up in the wrong hands what is the worst thing that might happen?
We're staying at the bounty hotel, and we have booked via email driect with them, but they are asking for copies of our passports and credit card. I am too sketchy to give them our credit card, so I will ask them for another payment option, ie cash on arrival.
Is there any scams that can happen to us if we fax our passport copies?
Has anyone done this with bounty hotel before? any problems?
