I have searched and read everything I could regarding upgrading coming home from Bali to Sydney - has anyone upgraded when they are on a package deal i.e. air fare and accommodation combined or can you only upgrade if you just have air content. We are going in September and as $'s are a bit tight this year we thought of booking the package on the cheap fare and upgrade in Bali a few days before we come home for the dreaded overnight flight. My husband is 6'7" which is why we have gone business class a few times and it was great, other times we have gone with friends and he goes upfront and I go back of the bus, but this time the difference between the two fares is around $750 each and thats a lot of Bintang and speding money in Bali. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
