Hi, myself and few friends are travelling over to Bali, from Scotland, for the first time, in mid-June....... a couple of Questions.
Travellers Cheques: what is best currency buy them in? I was thinking US or Aussie dollars..... is it possible to change sterling in Bali, or is it a bit of a hassle?
How is the Bali nightlife in mid-late June? I understand its been quite quiet over the past few years since the bombings?
What are the best methods of transport if your looking to explore the island... driver hire/car hire?
....was also going to ask where the best place would be to watch the World Cup, but someonelse beat me to it!
Is their any risk of contracting malaria from the mosquitos?
......any other general advice for a first time visitor to Bali would also be most welcome.
