First time to Crackers Bar..info. please

Hi Guys,
Well next trip we are finally going to get to go to Crackers Bar, we've tried to on several trips but itinery kept changing, but this time for sure.
In the area we would like to sight see of cause, so my question is, help with what to see and do on way there and back and while there.
Also, do I need a mud map or is it easy to find, I asked this question awhile back but still not really sure..
