my 1st trip to bali when i was 21 with a girlfriend (gee that was a few years ago now) we were so excited that in the first couple of days we purchased a huge plastic bag each of clothes from the beach sellers. We look back on that and laugh. We paid way way too much for it and basically back in those days it was of pretty ordinary quality. He he. So in hindsight - dont go shopping on your first day - leave it at least a couple of days or so to get the feel for where to buy from, what you want and what to pay. Oh the memories of that 1st trip - some funny things happened - including a huge case of bali belly as back in those days you were told to definitely NOT have drinks with ice - of course a few bourbon and cokes later we opted for ice and paid for it dearly.
