my first day in bali goes back many years when there wasnt many hotels in legian a friend got me and a few others on a last minute flight to bali!Many drinks at sydney airport and many drinks on plane later we arrived in bali went to hotel dropped everything at reception and off into the night we went many many disco dancing and drinks later we got seperated from our friend who had done our booking!4am in morning slightly undertheweather we tried to remember the name of the hotel and in those days they all sounded the same.Thanks to some very friendly and patient balinese with bikes we drove up and down Legian street trying to recogonise the hotel or its name!two hours later we found our friend stumbling back towards the hotel and somehow found our way back thanks to the balos that found us hilarious next day very very sick due to to much arak and sate eaten from stalls in the gutter!I can tell you we sure learnt a lesson!
