This has nothing to do with the poor of Bali and affoardability of drugs. I would hope that all your ill and poor Balinese are seen by a doctor or a clinician, if they are not then in all probability those responsible are failing their duty of care.
So if a baby has a sore ear, maybe a bit of yellow gunge running out, who prescribes the medicine, where does the medicine come from?
Please don't tell me it is made up from left over prescriptions from holiday makers who didn't take their course of antibiotics.
Read the links Scully or do a bit of reading or googling to arm yourself with a little knowledge of antibiotic abuse and the terrible situation the world is in right now with superbugs.
