5 companies asking whether they reimbursed the current retail value or the cost of second-hand goods & they'd all said second hand, I asked the question & was informed that all Australian travel insurance companies only insure for replacement with 'pre-loved' goods. But, that was a few years ago, now. Perhaps things have changed? Either way, glad to hear that there's at least one company out there who will replave with new goods. Cheers, Sue.
