sense, I think. Even though our camera was a current model, the model had been around for quite a while - ours was several years old. To buy a new one would have cost $415 (exactly the same model), but they paid us $150 (plus extras-bag, etc). So in hindsight, I guess it was the age of the camera that devalued it.
