JBR, Peter and Ketut day 8

Day eight Saturday, Today will be Alan's last full day, I'm both a little sad to see him head back but as I said to a few people after our trip last Feb my best fun started after Alan went home!! I had met a great couple from Queensland and as luck would have it ran into a guy and his family that was there the august before. But Camplung Mas is like that you keep meeting people time and time again


After brekkie which for a change Alan was first to we head to the swim up bar and plan Alan's last day he has a few things he wants to do including one last shopping trip a massage and lunch at Nero's!!

I have already told Al that I'm not seeing him to the airport as you can only go into the terminal if your flying and I am hopeful that Ketut might be back from her village before night time and I want to be here if she can make it although there would be a good chance she will not be back till Sunday. After brekkie Alan goes to his room before meeting me out front we head out to Centro and one last DVD stop and a look around the mall. We plan on some goodbyes but time is going to fast, and we head back to the hotel to sort out some things before walking up the road to Legian Garden to say goodbye for the girls and guys there before walking down Melasti st and then Legian towards Kuta square, ending up at Nero's

Lunch was great and unlike me who never have a big lunch before flying home Alan had a great big lunch I thought for a minute he was trying to eat the few things on the menu he had not had a chance to try up till today!! LOL We stayed at the restaurant till about two pm heading back by foot up the short cut over the road from Nero's.

When Alan is all packed he joins me for a quiet drink at the bar before he has to leave I still can not believe he fit so much stuff in his bags, he came over with a large back pack and a soft bag inside ex navy bag I think. Some how not going over allowance for weight . At about five pm our favourite driver from the hotel comes looking for Alan saying he is ready to take him to the airport and already has his bags in the car.

After Alan has left I head back to my room for a cat nap, not to mistaken for a nanna nap. I send a text to Ketut but am sure she will not get it till she returns to Denpasar as her reception in the village is very poor and on the once or twice I have called her on her mobile there the signal is very bad most times we will give it up within a few minutes as I feel like we are yelling into the phone and still can't hear or the signal is very broken.

In the end I do not get a reply till Sunday morning when Ketut lets me know she is on her way back to Denpasar and soon will come to the hotel, she has got a lift with her cousin and I tell her to text me time she will be at my hotel so I can meet her to pay for her taxi from home to the hotel.

Saturday night I have dinner at Legian Garden and as its another very slow night I chat with some of the staff, have a few drinks and then at about 10pm head home to the hotel to check out who is at the bar before heading to bed, and as noone is there head to my room with a smile on my face thinking tomorrow will be a great day with Ketut due back..
