On my last trip to Bali we drove through Ubud on the way to rafting but didnt really get a good look at it. What i was wondering is it it worth going there if you want wood carvings or do they have the same sort of stuff in the Kuta area? Im mainly looking for small items such as animal carvings but would love to get a set of puppets trhatIi have seen different people with. Could anyone help me out? I was wondering the same thing about Batubulan (i think thats the stone carving village) with regard to stone carvings. Thanks for all your help.
