My husband and I are scheduled to meet friends from Oz in March.
It will be my first trip to Bali. With the US State Dept and Australian Dept of Foreign Affairs discouraging non-essential travel to Bali, I am becoming more and more anxious about the trip daily.
Please tell me what 9 days in Kuta will be like. Do I have to be cautious all the time about kidnapping and bombings? What is it like
to travel into the country or shop with the local markets?
Please give any advice to allow me to get rid of my fears. This is a trip we have planned with our friends for years. I made the reservations two days before the October bombing.
